I like this. I like the imagery (knotted, pulsating, screams).
Maybe the poem would be clearer to follow if you stuck to one general metaphor? The main image I get is the one about pulsating shadows. I think of a dark room and a window in a black-and-white film. I guess love is shining through the window? Don't know where the knotted fits in.
regardless, the idea of this poem is really good, and I feel that you communicate it well. "Simplest resolution" is, in my opinion, the best line. :)
